Meet Gavi! Cool, crisp Italian White. The grape is Cortese, the region is Piedmont, Italy. One of my personal favorites. I taste lemon, minerals, bright flavors, and the color pale green. I would compare it more to a pinot grigio than a sauvignon blanc (not that much citrus). Best served well chilled. My favorite pairings are capers, salads, asparagus, herbs, seafood and fish. The crispness can help cut rich buttery dishes like our Seafood or Chicken and Asparagus.
